There are several ways to reach Twillingate. From the western coast of Newfoundland, it is more convenient and faster to take Route 340 from the Trans-Canada Highway into Lewisporte and follow Road To The Isles Route 340 through towns such as Campbellton, Baytona, Birchy Bay, Boyd's Cove, Summerford, Virgin Arm and a few others until you reach Twillingate island. If you are coming from the east coast of Newfoundland, taking route 330 Cooper Blvd. in Gander from the Trans-Canada Highway, through Gander Bay until you reach the Route 340 intersection, then turn right and follow Route 340 to Twillingate.
